Preemie’s Name: Luke / Dylan Gestation: 26 weeks / 35 weeks Hospital: Greenwich / Northern Westchester  Length of NICU Stays: 76 days / 3 days Date of Birth: May 30, 2015 / March 28, 2018   Allison’s NICU journey began in 2015 when Luke was born spontaneously at 26 weeks gestation. During his 76 days in the NICU, there were plenty of ups and downs, but Luke showed what it was to be a fighter. One of the most meaningful moments during their stay was meeting a former NICU family who had come back to visit the nurses- seeing their happy, healthy child gave Allison & her husband so much hope for the future. Today, Luke is thriving, and Allison is grateful for the opportunity to support other families as they navigate their own NICU journeys. When she is not mentoring, Allison enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
