The Center for Postpartum Support specializes in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of perinatal mood disorders. Pamela is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1997. She went to work in a child focused bureau in Stratford and was later employed at a drug & alcohol treatment facility in Stamford.

She began her career working for the New York City Fire Department in the Counseling Service Unit. With the FDNY, she honed her clinical skills treating a multitude of mental health issues including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Acute Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Bereavement and Grief, Traumatic Loss, and Anger Management. She also works extensively with clients coping with traumatic life events such as divorce, infertility, perinatal loss, and chronic illness as well as transitional life stages such as parenthood, college, retirement and aging.
Dr. Capanna-Hodge is a Educational Psychologist and Consultant and Neurofeedback Practitioner who has more than a fifteen years of working with children and families. She has a warm and engaging style that will make you and your child feel comfortable and confident. Known for her humor, ease, and thorough assessments, Dr. Capanna-Hodge will not only figure what is going on with your child but will also guide you through the process of accessing support. She helps families understand and address learning challenges by organizing and implementing appropriate assessments, creating educational plans, suggesting services and accommodations at school or work, locating tutoring, and providing solution-focused support.

Alexandra is deeply committed to helping families navigate the challenges of the perinatal period and women facing significant life transitions. She combines compassion, practical support, and evidence-based strategies to help individuals and families build resilience. Alexandra received training by Postpartum Support International, enabling her to assess and treat perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).
Alexandra is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Connecticut with expertise in maternal-child health. With experience working with families admitted to the Maternity and Newborn Intensive Care units at Stamford Hospital, as well as specialized training in domestic violence, she supports new parents in accessing resources and services.
Alexandra offers individual therapy, via telehealth, designed specifically to meet the needs of perinatal clients.
Amy utilizes a holistic approach to provide individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults who are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, perinatal loss, postpartum depression and transitional life stresses.
Amy practices mindfulness meditation and uses it with her clients to help evoke a sense of calm, focus and serenity during the therapeutic recovery process.
