DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, October 6\, 2020  \n7:00 pm \nZoom Presentation \nLife After the NICU Education Series: O/T and Speech Therapy \n \nDo you have concerns around your preemie’s developmental abilities and growth?  Are you worried about their speech and communication? \nJoin us and our guest presenters\, Annmarie Demarco\, licensed pediatric occupational therapist specializing in fine motor delays\, and Drake Hastings \, licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist specializing in feeding and speech\, for TTMF’s next After the NICU Education Series.  Both therapists maintain their own private practice and work with Birth to Three. \n  \nOccupational Therapy  \nO/T helps infants and toddlers develop their fine motor\, cognitive\, and processing skills which are all needed to complete tasks such as lifting their heads\, sitting\, and grasping toys.  Skills needed to help your little miracle explore their world. \nSpeech Therapy \nInfant speech therapy helps babies learn to feed properly and develop better communication skills. \n  \nPurpose of this presentation will be to help parents recognize the signs that OT and/or speech is needed. \n  \nRSVP below to receive the Zoom meeting link prior to the session.
