Life After the NICU with Elisabeth Schneider, LMFT

Join us for our next Life After the NICU session on Zoom. Hear from Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Elisabeth Schneider, who will discuss the emotional side of bringing baby home during a pandemic. We recognize that transitioning home from the NICU can be a challenging experience. Session will include strategies to manage stress and anxiety.

Elisabeth Schneider is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 16 years of experience. Elisabeth’s work focuses on families experiencing struggles with infertility, pregnancy loss, premature birth and post partum depression and anxiety. She is certified in the treatment of perinatal mood disorders and perinatal bereavement and she facilitates trainings on these topics for other mental health professionals.
Elisabeth worked at TTMF for 2 1/2 years as the Director of Family Services. More recently, Elisabeth has taken on the roll of Coordinator of the Developmental Follow Up Clinic and Mental Health Support for NICU families at Bridgeport Hospital. She also works as the Perinatal Bereavement Counselor at the hospital, supporting families who have experienced a perinatal loss.
Elisabeth maintains a private practice in Fairfield as well.
