Our presenters:
Suzanne Ford is a pediatric occupational therapist and Co-Director of Occupational Therapy at Sasco River Center, where she specializes in sensory processing and emotional regulation challenges. With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, Suzanne previously served as an assistant director and teacher at Shiny Little Stars Preschool, working primarily with infants and toddlers. A passionate advocate for child development and family support, Suzanne brings a multilingual and multicultural perspective to her work; she speaks three languages and integrates this versatility into her therapeutic approach. She has designed and led workshops for parents, educators, and therapists on topics including childhood transitions, pediatric home-based therapies, sensory play, and stress management.
 
Kelly Orsino is an occupational therapist and Co-Director of Occupational Therapy at Sasco River Center. Here, she specializes in evaluating and treating children of all abilities and profiles using a sensory-integrative approach. Kelly specializes in feeding therapy and has a special interest in transitioning babies to solids and picky eating in toddlers. Kelly has worked as an OT for over 10 years, with experience in both public and independent schools, transition programming for individuals with disabilities aged 18-22 years old, and outpatient therapies in the insurance and private pay settings. Kelly is a proponent of “regulation before participation”, and takes this approach with individuals across the lifespan. She is passionate about educating and engaging families in functional and achievable strategies for supporting children through their daily lives.
